Posting instructions
Posting your Environmental Issues Project

You will be creating a PowerPoint for the EIP topic that you have chosen and then posting your product on a website. We will be using SlideBoom.com to convert your documents into a Flash presentation so everyone in the class can easily view your presentation without downloading it and opening it in PowerPoint. This document contains the information you will need to post your completed powerpoint on the web. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process.
1. If you have not already done so, please accept the invitation I sent for you to join the blog EIP Presentations (at blooger or blogspot.com). This is where you will be posting the link to the completed Flash version of your PowerPoint.
2. Go to www.slideboom.com and create an account.
3. Upload your presentation to the website. Include MGMS 7402 EIP in the tag section (you enter this information after beginning the upload).
4. Once the conversion process is completed for your PowerPoint, click on the ‘View Presentation” button. There you will get the HTML code to put into your entry on the EIP Presentation blog.
5. Copy the code from the “Embed into your blog” box; you can use the standard copy and paste command or the word “Copy” to the right of the box.
6. Log into the EIP Presentation blog and create a new blog posting. Enter your topic as the name of the blog. In the upper right corner of the text entry box below the title, click on ‘Edit HTML’ tab. Then copy and paste the code you got at slideboom.com into the textbook. Finally, click, ‘Publish Post’ in the bottom left hand side of the screen. Voila! You’ve posted your Flash presentation to the blog for the whole class to see!
